I think that British Library (the one at St Pancras) is great, if you need a quiet and comfortable place to study.

You can use your laptop in BL reading rooms (there are power sockets at every table).
There is also free public WIFI. However, sometimes it is very slow. And, sometimes, it is difficult to log in.
I think that using a USB broadband dongle is better, in terms of speed and reliability.

It is easy to obtain a BL reader pass.
You will need to visit Reader Registration office on the upper-ground floor at St Pancras library.

To receive your reader pass, you will need to bring:
1. Your ID that has your signature on it (for example, your passport).
2. Your proof of address (for example, a utility bill or a bank statement).

Finally, you may borrow books from the library. However, you are not allowed to take them home.
Although, to borrow most of the books you will have to use the BL electronic catalogue system, you may find many books (in particular, textbooks) located in open access areas in the reading rooms.

  British Library는 조용하고 쾌적하기로 유명한 도서관입니다.
도서관 안에서 노트북을 사용하루소 있습니다만, 종종 너무 느려서 짜증날 때가 있어요.
그래서 개인용 인터넷 USB(dongle)를 사용하는 것을 추천합니다.

도서관에 출입증을 발급받는 것이 쉽습니다. 도서관 1층에 가면 등록사무실이 있고 거기에 신분증(패스포트)과 주소지증명(은행이나 공공기관에서 보낸 편지와 같은)을 가져가면 즉석에서 발급해줍니다.

그러나 도서관에서 책을 자유롭게 빌려볼 수는 있지만 밖으로 빌려올 수는 없습니다.
