Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Supervisors to assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our prestigious Korean restaurant in London. Whether you're looking for a full-time or part-time role, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and help create lasting memories for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the management in ensuring smooth restaurant operations during your assigned shifts.
- Lead and motivate front-of-house staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high service standards.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery, while maintaining food quality and presentation.
- Welcome and seat guests, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or special requests.
- Supervise the dining area to ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and set up for incoming guests.
- Handle guest feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, taking appropriate actions to ensure satisfaction.
- Oversee cash handling and payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Help implement and maintain health and safety guidelines and uphold restaurant cleanliness standards.
- Support the implementation of promotions, events, and special menu offerings.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and help foster a collaborative and respectful work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead in a restaurant, preferably with exposure to Korean or Asian cuisine.
- Passion for Korean culture and cuisine, with a genuine interest in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to guide and inspire a diverse team.
- Customer-centric mindset, focused on creating positive and memorable guest interactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling and point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
Location : Various locations across London
Wage : up to £13 per hour, or up to £28,000 per year
