We are looking for enthusiastic and talented assistant manager to join our team at YORI Korean BBQ Restaurant in Fulham. Our teams are well known for being friendly, enthusiastic & dynamic, and we pride ourselves on delivering a balance of knowledgeable service with warm personable hospitality.
What is expected from our Assistant Manager:
- Passionate about food and customer service
- Dedicated to creating an outstanding customer experience
- Be a great team player and leader
- Have hands-on-approach and have problem-solving abilities
- Have at least 1 year of experience in similar managerial role
- Have at least 2 years of experience or in the food/hospitality
- Be knowledgeable about food safety & hygiene standards for caterers
- Must be available to work full days, part time hours, evenings and weekends
- Must be fluent in English language
- Knowledge or interest in Korean cuisine, culture, language is a plus
Job responsibilities:
- Working closely with Restaurant Manager and Operation team to ensure the restaurant floor is always operating smoothly
- Ensuring both FOH & BOH are compliant with licensing, hygiene and health and safety guidelines
- Recruiting, training and supervising staff, planning staff rotas
- Managing budget as agreed, keeping statistical and financial records
- Promoting and marketing the business
- Overseeing stock levels, ordering supplies
