Our client, CARGO KING (U.K.) LIMITED is recruiting an ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT and OPERATOR to join their business in the UK.

Location: 450 BAH ROAD, LONGFORD, WEST DRAYTON, UB7 0EB, THE UNITED KINGDOM

1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Occupational category: ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT & OPERATOR
Personnel: 1
Foreign language skills: Fluency in English & Korean

- English: High: Able to communicate in all situations

- Korean: Upper: Proficiency in native level

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- negotiating rates and booking spaces for goods on trains, ships and planes
- planning the most suitable mode of transport and route, taking into account deadlines and type of goods
- arranging the packing and storage of goods before transportation
- confirming shipping arrangements and details with carriers and clients
- dealing with customs to clear goods to be transported
- working out import and export duties
- arranging payment for freight services and other charges
- preparing quotes, invoices and all necessary licences and paperwork
- working out the details of transport and insurance costs
- perhaps specialising in one type of business, such as importing perishable goods like fruit.

3. SALARY & BENEFITS
- Visa: Legal Visa Holders (Working Holiday Visa etc.)
- Recruitment: Full-time/contract worker 12 months, renewal possible after contract expiration*
- Working hours: 8 hours / 5 days (1 hour lunch break not included)
- Schedule: 8 hour shift / Day shift / Monday to Friday
- Holiday: 28 days (Incl. Public Bank Holiday)
- Insurance: Basic social insurance provided by the labour law
- Recruitment due date: ASAP

4. PROCESS
1st: Document review (Written review of submitted documents such as resume, self-introduction letter, and certificate)
2nd: Interview (comprehensive evaluation of skills required for job performance through interview and foreign language evaluation)
