We’re looking for Full Time or Part time: KITCHEN PORTERS to join our team at Yashin Ocean House located in South Kensington.

Hours will be an average of 45 per week and will include weekends. The opportunity for maximum/minimum hours working is given.

The role of the kitchen porter is an entry-level position but if you work diligently, you can steadily climb the career ladder. As a kitchen porter you will be required to complete tasks in a kitchen including duties such as cleaning, washing up and basic food preparation.

- Collecting and washing up pots and pans.
- Cleaning/washing crockery & cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready.
- Unloading equipment and food from deliveries.
- Ensuring the storeroom remains organised.
- Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitized.
- Full of energy and physically strong.
- Dispose of food waste

You will be on your feet all day so being in good physical condition is essential. It is also important to remain calm under pressure because you will be working in a high speed environment.
