The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Air Solutions Product Management Team as Assistant Product Manager – Air Solutions. Our Air Solution Product Management Team is responsible for the sales and distribution of air solution products such as commercial air-conditioning system, residential air-conditioner and air-purifier into the UK market.
As an Assistant Product Manager – Air Solutions you will be responsible for the pipeline management of air solution product projects and also will be tasked to understand and forecast on future business budget needs, analyse findings by conducting cost & benefit analyses, create suggestions & check the reasonability of payment, and communicate with the marketing team, including checking budget of marketing support. You will be responsible for managing sales programmes, which includes organising the promotion details, monthly sales programmes report, and monitoring the balance and current sales programme activities. Any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as requested by the line manager.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Pipeline Management and KAM Performance Analysis
. Manage the project management with the sales team including Key Account Managers (KAMs)
. Generate the monthly & weekly pipeline management report
. Monitor the daily project progress and the delivery progress of projects.
. Create recommendations based on sound assessment of project opportunities and communicate them to management and stakeholders.
. The project lead generation which can create new project demands.
. Manage the BSPM (B2B Sales Performance Management) system and its analysis report
Product Line-up Management and Marketing Activities Monitoring
. Understand the current product line-up and prepare the next year line-up based on the R&D plan and production plan
. Management of End of Life (EOL) models and introduce the new models to the market
. Regularly communicate with marketing team and check its implementation, budget of marketing activities
Sales Programme and Profitability Analysis
. Share the product and market information with HQ, Sales team and other internal stakeholders, and provide UK business update to HQ
. Understand and forecast on future business budget needs
. Analyse findings by conducting cost & benefit analyses for each sales channels
. Profitability Analysis of air solution projects
. Channel’s performance management in terms of volume & target, rebate, SOA, price protection claim.
. HQ strategic fund management
. Other Sales & Marketing activities support
. Sales Programme Management System (SPMS)
Regular Activities:
. Daily: Pipeline management (monitoring of daily pipeline progress)
. Weekly: Sales performance report, Pipeline performance report
. Monthly: Sales performance report, Pipeline performance report, P&L analysis report.
. Sales & pipeline report, promotion calendar, month-end closing report
. Quarterly: Sales & Pipeline performance report, P&L analysis report, marketing activities report
Skills, Education & Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within a related business environment – ideally consumer electronics, is preferable. Bachelor’s Degree is an advantage.
Due to daily communication with HQ, the candidate would have to be fluent in verbal and written communication in English and Korean. This will include translating business information from HQ in English in order to share with the internal Sales & Marketing team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Pro-active and confident liaising with both colleagues internally and externally
Highly organised with strong administration background
Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of databases and queries
Energetic self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
Highly focused and capable of sustaining a fast pace in a dynamic environment
Able to constructively challenge and improve existing practice
Completer finisher, able to be resilient to drive issues through to a successful customer-focused solution
Good judgement, able to make practical and realistic decisions within scope of responsibility
Proven commercial acumen and ability to achieve commercial objectives
