Import Agent
 
Job Descriptions :
Start to finish Import operation including Customs entries
Investigates and evaluates UK and overseas demand for particular commodities
Advises home and overseas producers on the likely future demand for their goods
Obtains orders from buyers and arranges payment by bill of exchange, letter of credit or other means
Arranges for shipment of commodities overseas and ensures that insurance and export licences are in order
Track shipment through existing channel and ensure the transit and delivery is made on time.
Closely monitor and arrange shipment with relevant agents
Check the tracking of any delayed shipments
Arrange and complete all associated paperwork, record into system
Respond to telephone/email/instant message queries
Occasional domestic / international travel
Airfreight and Sea freight delivery updates
Liaising with overseas customers on correct procedures
Business Development and attending trading fairs

The Skill, Experience and qualifications required for post
- Native or fluent in English and Korean
- Solid understanding of Korean culture and Korean foods
- Intermediate Excel skills advantageous
- Bachelor’ degree preferred, but not necessary

Operating Hour : 08:00 to 17:00(Mon-Fri)

Annual Leave : 28DAYS (INCLUDING UK BANK HOLIDAYS)

3month Probation and then CoS could be applied for you as we are a sponsorship holder.
