Job Description
The role combines accounting and business management skills and ideally suited for an ACCA/CIMA studier. The role is primarily responsible for assisting the accurate accounting and finance reporting and support other ad-hoc tasks with daily activities.
You will compile financial statements, review data and ensure financial compliance. As accounting/finance staff you will be responsible for a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable and receivable, tax returns, bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews, forecasting and budgeting.
This is a full-time position with the ability to work from our London office.
Key responsibility
- Enter journal entries into house accounting software
- Prepare prepaid, accrued expenses, AP/AR schedules and other month end reconciliation as assigned
- Review and enter invoices in house accounting software
- Reconcile vendor accounts statements to ensure correct balance due
- Maintain files and reports related to vendors and contracts
- Assist with tax schedule preparation and year end coordination with external accountants as needed
- Assist with the preparation of the annual finance statement, cash management report and budget report as HQ needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance
- +3 years financial accounting experience
- Advanced lever Excel & in house accounting software user
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and positive attitude as a team player
- Fluent English
- Fluent Korea is preferable but not essential
