Main Purpose and Scope of the Job:
Reporting to the Logistics and Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Administrator will be a support role for the Warehouse administration functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Day to day warehouse management, with a focus on staffing and duties, resource planning, and employee relationships, staff training and development.
• Manage relationships with external contractors for aspects of facilities management.
• Work closely with other departments to improve functions, such as Transport, HR, Inventory Management, Sales, and Retail.
• Assist in the implementation and maintain the operational use of a new WMS within the warehouse operations.
• Be responsible for Health and Safety matters within the warehouse.
• Develop warehouse and distribution strategies that support the medium and long-term strategy using the ERP system.
• Gather and analyse internal and external information to develop a distribution strategy that considers customers' current and future requirements in the UK and Europe, and company growth plans.
• Develop models and conduct analyses to identify service and cost improvements.
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform other special assignments and duties as may be required.
Personal Specification:
• The Warehouse Administrator will be required to have strong computer literacy.
• At least 1 years’ experience in an administrative role would be beneficial.
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and be highly organised.
• Able to think on their feet and solve problems when required.
• Excellent communication skills, liaising with internal departments and external contractors.
