About Samyang Foods UK
Samyang Foods is a leading Korean food company with a strong global presence. To strengthen our footprint in Europe, we are establishing a new UK subsidiary under Samyang Foods Europe. The UK entity will be dedicated to driving sales and marketing of Samyang products in the British market.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Trade Marketeer with a proven track record in the FMCG industry. In this role, you will lead efforts to introduce and promote Samyang Foods products across the UK. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that resonate with the UK market, ensuring our products stand out in the competitive FMCG landscape.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the UK in executing the UK marketing plan.
• Analyse consumer trends, competitive products, and regional preferences to inform product strategies.
• Provide insights based on market knowledge to support to execution of the UK marketing plan.
• Develop and execute position strategy for new product group.
• Plan and execute product launches tailored to specific countries and target demographics.
• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure successful rollouts.
• Develop and implement marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and market share in line with the adopted product marketing strategy.
• Partner with creative teams to produce compelling content and promotional materials.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing strategies.
• Lead NPD process based on the financial planning (sales / profit / volume estimation).
• Working with the Q&A team to respond to and provide constructive feedback to consumers and customers regarding inquiries, complaints, and suggestions related to our products
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• Experience in launching products in the UK is a plus.
• Great project management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing & analytics tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in the Korean language is a plus.
