Our client, a reputable international bank located in the heart of City of London, is urgently looking for a Korean speaking Admin & HR Assistant Manager to join its busy Admin/HR Department on a 12 month maternity cover contract to assist Administration Manager, Head of Back Office and the team with all administrative and HR tasks and ad hoc duties in order to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multi-task..
[Key Responsibilities]
(1) Assisting Administration Manager as needed.
(2) Drafting approval documents and uploading them into internal system.
(3) HR – responding to HR queries from employees, managing the data of joiners/leavers, maintaining and keeping monthly staff attendance records up to date, issuing letters, sending out introduction emails etc.
(4) Providing monthly and annual data to external payroll providers and liaising with them as required.
(5) Accounts payable/receivable entries and reimbursements (using internal software).
(6) Liaising with HO as and if required (including but not limited to general reporting to HO, budgeting etc).
(7) Translating Korean documents into English as needed.
(8) Assisting Korean Expats’ team with Admin, HR and payroll related inquiries as needed.
(9) Providing data and preparing documents for Special Audits and other ad hoc as needed.
(10) Liaising with suppliers, contractors.
(11) Liaising with building management including arranging repair and maintenance if required.
(12) Events planning.
(13) Maintaining and updating office database.
(14) Implementing new procedures and systems if needed.
(15) Providing help and assistance to General Manager and Head of Back Office.
[Requirements]
(1) Must be fluent in both Korean & English
(2) Must have minimum 5 years’ relevant admin experience in UK (experience within HR, payroll and accounts payable is highly desirable)
(3) Advanced level of MS Office (having strong Excel skills is a must)
(4) Good communication skills and team player
(5) Previous experience as a team leader / supervisor is highly beneficial
[Conditions]
(1) Location: City of London (Bank area)
(2) Working hours: 9am~5pm (NO overtime)
(3) Annual leave: 31 days (including 8 Bank/Public Holidays, pro-rata)
(4) Basic salary: 30~40K (depending on experience)
