1. Title: Sales Account Manager
2. Report to: Trading Director
3. Salary: £30,000– 35,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
4. Working hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 0830 – 1800
5. Contract: Permanent, subject to 3-month probation
6. Main Purpose & Scope of the Job
This role manages sales of the company’s FMCG products within a specified territory and ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and management customers. Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short-term and long-term sales and profitability.
Duties & Key Responsibilities
• Manage customer accounts and develop sales of a wide range of products to existing and potential sales targets
• Make recommendations regarding appropriate marketing and promotional campaigns
• Regularly analyse sales figures maintaining effective business reports
• Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the sales team
• Other duties and responsibilities which the company will require to perform in line with the position
7. Person Attributes
• Korean speaking very advantageous
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word
• Able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision in a demanding working environment
• Able to communicate and negotiate effectively with customers
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Excellent time management skills, highly organized, self-motivate and possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt
• Full UK Driving License
• Knowledge of Asian foods and cultures in general would be an advantage
