Samyang Foods is a leading Korean food company with a strong global presence. To strengthen our footprint in the UK, we are establishing a new UK subsidiary under Samyang Foods Europe. The UK entity will be dedicated to driving sales and marketing of Samyang products in the British market.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated sales professional to drive sales (B2B) to customers and expand our presence in the European market. This role focuses on growing sales with existing customers, acquiring new clients, building relationships, and maximizing sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Increase sales of existing products with existing customers
• Present and sell new products to existing customers
• Conduct regular business review meetings with customers
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to regional market dynamics.
• Develop sales channel and increase coverage and listing of current products with existing / new customers
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in alignment with company policies.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns
• Collaborate with support and supply chain team to ensure regular supply of product to the markets
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
• Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to potential clients.
• Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 5 to 7 years in B2B FMCG sales, preferably in the European market.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in sales of Asian food products is preferable (not a must)
• Proven track record of growing sales with existing customers/distributors in international markets
• Strong understanding of European wholesaler and supermarket dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, multicultural team.
• Proficiency in English; additional European language and/or Korean language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
