The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and a solid understanding of B2B sales processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organisational success while enhancing your professional development.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop B2B accounts including wholesalers, Asian supermarkets, independent shops, and restaurants.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand needs, gather feedback, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Handle customer enquiries and work closely with internal teams such as Logistics, Accounts, Warehouse, Technical to resolve issues efficiently.
- Manage returns, complaints, and credit or payment queries, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities across the UK.
- Generate leads, deliver sales talks, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Plan and execute trade promotions, seasonal campaigns, and bespoke offers to support customer needs.
- Monitor stock requirements and communicate demand forecasts to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain up-to-date pricing information, discount lists, and account documentation.
- Analyse sales performance by account and product category, providing insights to support strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and relevant legislation.
Requirements
- Valid UK Driving Licence
- Proven experience in B2B sales in the FMCG sector
- Strong analysis skills to interpret sales data and market insights effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Proficiency in Asian languages is preferred but not required
- A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
