Hello, my name is Tim (팀). I am a British citizen who was born in Canada (native English speaker). I am currently living in London, UK, and am looking for some freelance work.
I am here to help you as an ESL tutor or as an editor/translator for your writings in English. I lived in Korea for 6 years (3 years teaching English, 3 years studying Korean), and recently finished my masters degree in Korean Studies at Leiden University in the Netherlands. I have also studied at the University of Victoria in Canada, City University and the University of London (SOAS) in England, and Sungkyunkwan University and the Literature Translation Institute of Korea in Seoul. I also worked for the Korea Institute of Design Promotion for almost 2 years as their main translator and editor.
I have lots of experience tutoring Korean students in Korea, Canada, and elsewhere. And I have worked on many editing and translation projects in Korea over the years. I would be happy to give you references and/or a letter of recommendation.
I also have plenty of experience editing, proofreading (and also translating - Korean to English) essays, profiles, cover letters, and resumes/CVs for Korean clients.
