Hello,

My name is Sunim and I’m a Korean Buddhist monk.

I manage a small and modest temple, which is within a normal semi-detached house.

I’m looking for new tenants who are interested in meditation, mindfulness, yoga, tea ceremonies, art, gardening/horticulture, cooking, Korean culture and so on.  You don’t need to be a Buddhist but what I would really like is to share this house with people who just be aware of a well-being, well-meaning life, in which you’d balance healthy mind & body, whilst being eco-friendly and caring for the environment.

I don’t mind which gender or genders reside here but if you are a couple in a relationship you need to be considerate if I’m to consider them for our en-suite room.

Don’t worry about drinking alcohol, eating meat or smoking.
I can respect your habits, pastimes and leanings.
(That said, please be beware that no sex is allowed here.)

I have regular yoga classes twice a week and children’s classes twice a month. I don’t have many activities in the temple except on special days, and it’s therefore mostly very calm and quiet.

I very much hope you can join classes and we can also make yoga / meditation / healthy cooking classes together if you want. I also respect private relaxation, and in fact our house atmosphere is very calm and peaceful.
