Matcha Host (15–40 hrs/week)
At TOKKIA, we believe in quiet joy — in calm moments shared over a cup of tea and fresh pastry.
We're bringing Korea's spirit of warmth and care to London through thoughtfully whisked matcha, comforting baked goods, and kind service.
We're looking for Matcha Hosts to join our small, friendly team.
*About the role
As a Matcha Host, you'll be at the heart of the guest experience.
You'll prepare and whisk matcha with care, serve each guest with warmth, and help create an atmosphere that feels welcoming and genuine.
Experience with matcha or in hospitality isn't required (though preferred) — we'll teach you everything you need to know.
What matters most is your energy: a natural smile, curiosity, and a kind, confident presence that puts people at ease.
*You'll be a great fit if you
-Have a warm, open, and positive personality — you enjoy connecting with people.
-Communicate clearly and kindly, with fluent English.
-Take pride in presentation, detail, and care.
-Stay grounded, even during busy moments.
-Are curious about Korean culture, matcha, and considered service.
-Are available to work 15–40 hours per week, including weekends.
*What this role offers
-Full matcha and service training — no prior experience needed.
-Competitive hourly wage (above minimum wage), plus tips.
*What we offer
-A supportive team culture rooted in Korean hospitality.
-Staff matcha, salt bread, and team tastings.
-A peaceful, design-led space where hospitality is an art of care.
*To apply
Please send your CV and a short note about yourself to hey@tokkia.world.
With your application, please include:
-The total number of hours you're available to work per week.
-Confirmation of your right to work in the UK.
-The date you can start.
Applications missing this information can't be considered.
